Why choose us

Specialists in Filipino domestic staff

We know the Filipino community in the UK well and personally interview every candidate before publishing her profile. We do not select or exclude anyone on the grounds of nationality or any other protected characteristic.

Full support

We advise you throughout the entire process: from the first interview until the candidate is working in your home. Always by your side.

Reviewed profiles

We talk to every candidate before publishing her profile and tell you anything that still needs to be confirmed.

12-month guarantee

Meeting a candidate is free of charge. Our fee (one month of her gross salary) is due only if you hire her, seven days after she starts. For 12 months, if it does not work out, we find you another candidate at no extra cost.

Your part: what a live-in needs at home

If it's your first time, this is what a live-in employee expects from the family. It's simpler than it seems.

Her own room

A space of her own to rest and have her privacy.

A trusting relationship

A close, respectful relationship. Over time she often becomes one more of the family.

Hours and rest

A clear schedule and her weekly day off, agreed with her from the start.

Fair salary

A salary at or above the National Living Wage, paid monthly through PAYE. We help you set it.

Insurance and pension

A workplace pension if she qualifies, and the right insurance cover for someone working in your home. We guide you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the service cost?
Meeting a candidate is free. You only pay if you hire: one month’s salary for the role, paid once, 7 days after she starts. And you get 12 months of replacements at no cost.
What's included in the service?
We introduce you to the candidate, put you in touch with her and guide you throughout the selection process: questions about contracts, salaries and PAYE.
How do you select the candidates?
We talk to each one before publishing her profile. Her profile shows her experience, her references and her immigration status as she tells it to us; before hiring, we recommend you interview her and speak to her references.
What if I'm not interested in the candidate after meeting them?
No problem. We'll introduce you to other candidates until you find the right fit for you.
What happens after I request an introduction?
We contact you, let the candidate know you are interested and put you in touch with her. We guide you every step of the way.
Do you help with the contract and payroll?
We advise you on the written statement of employment and how to register as an employer with HMRC (PAYE). If you prefer, we can put you in touch with a nanny payroll service that handles it for a small monthly fee.
What if it doesn't work out?
You have a 12-month guarantee: if the relationship doesn't work out within that period, for whatever reason, we find and introduce another candidate, as many times as needed, at no extra cost.
Is the salary shown gross or net?
Always gross, per month. In the UK the employer deducts tax and National Insurance through PAYE; the amount on each profile is what you agree with her before deductions.
Is the contract with you or directly with the employee?
The contract is directly between your family and the employee: you are the employer. We support you before and after she starts and, if you prefer, we introduce you to a payroll service that handles the paperwork.
What are a live-in's working hours and time off?
Working hours and days off are agreed with her in writing, within the law: rest breaks, weekly rest and 5.6 weeks of paid holiday a year. A live-in housekeeper is not on call 24 hours. We guide you so it is clear from the start.
Do I need to provide anything else?
Employers of domestic staff in the UK must pay at least the National Living Wage (also for live-in staff), enrol her in a workplace pension if she qualifies, and check your insurance: many nanny payroll packages and some home insurance policies include employer's liability cover. We tell you what applies to your case.
Does she have the right to work in the UK?
Yes — we only present candidates whose right to work in the UK we have checked (settled or pre-settled status, indefinite leave to remain, or a visa that allows this work). You will see the document before she starts, as the law requires.
How is each profile's score calculated?
We calculate it from each candidate's information: her main skills, experience, languages, references and other details such as a driving licence. The stars reflect our assessment, not a rating she gives herself.
Do you provide references for the candidates?
Some publish their references on their profile and some don't, but we always try to get you at least one for each candidate you're interested in.
