Filipina at Home

Privacy notice

Controller: CERRO DE ESCOLASTICA SOCIEDAD LIMITADA (Spain), trading as Filipina at Home. Contact: info@filipinaathome.co.uk. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and, as a company established in Spain, the EU GDPR.

What we collect and why

Who sees the data

A candidate's public profile (first name, age, photo, experience, skills, availability) is visible on this website. Her phone number and references are shared only with a family we have introduced her to, and only with her agreement. Family data is never published. We use service providers to host the website and data (Amazon Web Services, EU region), to send WhatsApp messages (Meta) and emails, to measure visits to this website if you accept analytics cookies (Google), and to process payments; they act on our instructions.

Transfers outside the UK

We are based in Spain, and our data is hosted in the European Union, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Some providers (Meta for WhatsApp, Google for analytics, and our email and payment providers) may process data in the United States; where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses.

Automated tools

We use automated tools to help us draft replies and keep profiles up to date. No decision that affects you (being introduced to a family, or not) is taken by automated means alone: a person on our team is responsible for every case.

How long we keep it

Candidate profiles remain while the candidate is looking for work and are hidden at her request. Records of introductions and fees are kept for six years to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and for the duration of the replacement guarantee.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it, by writing to info@filipinaathome.co.uk. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookies

This site uses the technical storage needed for it to work (your language and session). Only if you accept them in the cookie notice, it also uses Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site is used; they are not set if you reject them, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser. No advertising cookies are set.
